What is L2WC?

The Local 2 Women’s Caucus (L2WC) was founded by a group of female hotel workers from the San Francisco Local 2 chapter. We believe every L2 union member deserves representation, regardless of gender, race, location, or occupation.

Why does L2WC exist?

We have similar challenges, and some people solved them while others are still struggling. We host a public discussion on here so that we can work together to solve those problems. We help you help yourself.

What issue are you having?

Each forum allows you to look at others’ posts and share your own issue.

Manager

Management is treating you or others unfairly

Coworker

Issues with coworker, such as workplace conflict, professionalism, or harrasment

Scheduling Issue

Too many or too few hours. Timing of shifts.

Health & Safety

Anything that risks your physical safety

Union Representation

You don’t have a Union Representative or Shop Steward, or you do, and you don’t feel they are representing you
